CV ZA is a free CV maker built for South Africa. You pick a style, answer the builder questions, and preview a proper A4 CV on your phone. The free download carries a watermark. A clean download costs R19, or can be earned through the qualifying friend unlock shown in the app.
It is made for the phone in your hand, not for an office computer. It works in English, isiZulu, Sesotho and isiXhosa, it keeps working without data once it has loaded, and the templates are written for the work South Africans are actually applying for: matric leavers, general workers, learnerships and office jobs.
There is also a jobs page with fresh entry level posts and learnerships, refreshed every day from public sources, and a matric page that shows what your subjects can open.
CV ZA is made by Vantum, a South African AI software business. Vantum is at vantum.co.za.
It is built and run from Johannesburg. It is not a recruitment agency, not a government site and not a franchise of anything overseas.
It exists because looking for work in this country already costs money that people looking for work do not have: data, airtime, taxi fare, printing. Building and previewing a CV are free. The optional clean download is a once-off R19 purchase.
CV ZA is free so anyone looking for work can make a CV on their phone.
The optional clean CV download is bought through our checkout, with Capitec Pay and card payments processed by Stitch or Paystack. We never charge you to apply for a job. Our page on spotting the pay to apply scam shows exactly how it runs.
