CV ZA is free for people looking for work. Building a CV, downloading the PDF, the AI writing help, the jobs page and the tips all cost nothing, and there is nothing to pay anywhere in the app.
We will never charge you for career advice, for assessing you, or for putting you in touch with work. If CV ZA ever sells anything, it will be the document and the tools that polish it, never your job search.
CV ZA is a tool that helps you write your own CV. The CV is yours: your words, your file, yours to send anywhere, no watermark and no strings. You can use it for yourself or to help somebody else make theirs.
CV ZA is not an employment agency. We do not hire, we do not place people in jobs, we do not apply on your behalf, and we do not send your CV to anybody. Only you do that. Using CV ZA does not promise you an interview or a job, and nobody honest can promise you those.
The jobs page gathers entry level posts and learnerships from public sources and shows them in one place, refreshed every day. The adverts belong to the employers who posted them. When you tap apply, you go to the employer's own page and deal with them directly: we are not part of that conversation and we pass nothing about you to them.
We try to show real, current posts, but we did not write them and cannot stand behind every one. Check an advert the way our tips page shows before you spend money on a taxi, and if anyone connected to any advert asks you to pay to apply, it is a scam: report it and move on.
The AI buttons turn your own words into cleaner CV lines. The machine drafts, but you sign: read every line before you send your CV anywhere, because a machine can misunderstand you, and the CV goes out under your name, not ours. How the AI handles your text is on the privacy page.
The free AI has a daily limit shared by everyone. When a day's writing is used up, the buttons rest until tomorrow and everything else keeps working.
Your CV must be true. A CV that claims a qualification or a job you never had can cost you the position later and can be a crime. The app helps you say what you have done clearly. It is not for saying things that never happened, and not for making documents in somebody else's name without their say so.
Use the app like a person, not a machine. Do not hammer it with scripts, try to break into it, or use it to trick people. We can block use like that, and we will.
How we handle information is on the privacy page. The short of it: your CV text stays on your phone, and we message you only if you ticked the WhatsApp box.
CV ZA is a free service and comes as it is. We work to keep it up, correct and safe, but we cannot promise it will never be down, never have a fault, or that any employer will call you. To the extent South African law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using a free service: and nothing in these terms takes away any right the law gives you that cannot be taken away, under the Consumer Protection Act, POPIA or anything else.
These terms are governed by South African law. If we change them, the date below moves, and a change never takes away the core promises on this page: free for work seekers, your CV is yours, and nobody is ever charged to apply for anything.
